Philz Struggle at first, but Finish up strong

This week for the Philz was a rough one. They dropped the 4 game series against the Mets 1 game to 3 games. Brett Myers takes the cake with a huge win against the Mets. Bobby Abreu and Pat Burrell lead the offense. For the full story go to : click on "Da Philz" link to the left.

The weekend went well for the Philz. They take the 3 game series against the Cubs 2 games to 1 game. Right now the Phillies are in last place in the NL East and better start doing better. This week for the Phillies starts with a three game series against the Brewers and finishes with a four game series against the Reds.

This Week for the Philz

Friday and Saturday were tough losses to the Marlins, however we come out of the weekend strong with an 8-6 win against Florida. Bobby Abreu hits the a homer, which is the first given up but Marlins "Ace" Beckett. Next up for the Philz is a 4 game series at the New York Mets.
