Phirst Impressions Tell Alot
The beginning of the Charlie Manuel Era was a good one. Philadelphia can be a tough city to play for, coach for, or even cheer for; but Charlie Manuel came out against the Washington Nationals on Mon. April 4th and showed his new fan club what he will do. The Phillies stomped the Nationals debut with a 8-4 win. Another newly aquired asset just happened to make his Philadelphia debut worth watching was the old but still speedy centerfielder Kenny Lofton who hit a beautiful three-run homer in the fifth.

Philadelphia is the worst city to play for. They have the most fair weather fans i have ever seen. I would rather play in Europe or Mexico then for Philly teams.
First impressions mean absolutely nothing. Even may meanst jack. Its all about the long stretch. Wait until the end of June and following the all-start break of July. Then talk to me about how your good start meant anything. I think a new parking lot would be more beneficial the city than having the phillies. Think of all the revenue they could generate from monthly spaces instead of empty seats at the stadium
