Philz Lose to Reigning Champs

Ok Philz Phanz.... so we dropped our spring league game against the Reigning World Champion Boston Red Sox who are wicked good. But let's look at the bright side... we only lost 5-4, our ace (best pitcher for all you who don't follow baseball) Randy Wolf, pitched two scoreless innings, and center fielder Kenny Lofton had a nice little triple. So all in all I feel it was a good sign for these Philthies from the "City of Brotherly Love." And for those of you who missed the game, Boston turned a ridiculous triple play. Pretty cool to see.

I am not surprised in the least that the Phillies lost. They should be used to it by now just like all the other Philly teams. But good luck anyway.

I think the Phils are going to do it this year. If you have any updates about them, pass them along. Thanks

Not the biggest baseball fan...mostly because 9 innings is a long time for a girl like me with so much energy to just SIT and WATCH, but sometimes I like going to a game just to do something different! I can look into it for my blog too but I'd be interested in knowing how much it would be for Home game tickets.

And quick sidenote: This past July I went to a home game (I think the 2nd) for the game/Fourth of July fireworks & it was really nice! Minus the fact that the game was SO long (I think about 16 innings, no joke...and we still lost, awesome), but regardless the fireworks were worth it!

Im not quite sure what to say about the Phillies. They dont have what it takes to compete in the NL East, and by buying overaged and past-prime all stars will do nothing to help them. Watch for a continues losint streak
